The Hello Kitty cafe is here in Singapore and officially opening on 12 May 2016. This is definitely a good news for all Hello Kitty fans here. Located in Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3, this is a 24 hours cafe, which opens daily and able to host up to 84 pax. Why The Name “Hello Kitty Orchid Garden”?

Everyone around the world knows that Singapore is a garden city. Therefore, the Hello Kitty cafe is setup in a way to emulate the country’s ‘garden city’ vibe. Filled up with interior design of lush greenies, take a closer look at the flowers. You will get to notice that Singapore’s national flower, orchids, are mainly used to decorate the cafe. Therefore, the name of this Hello Kitty cafe is called Hello Kitty Orchid Garden.

What Makes This Hello Kitty Cafe World’s First?

Opens around-the-clock daily, this is the world’s first Hello Kitty cafe which opens 24 hours. Managed by ABR Holdings Ltd, this is their first themed cafe. The company also manages many other F&B outlets such as Swensen’s and Tip Top. Besides serving 24 hours, this is also Kitty’s first time to be opened in an airport. Now, regardless if you are a local or tourist, you can now enjoy a unique dining experience in this cafe.

Can You Spot The Difference On The Kitty?

If you were to visit this cafe, photography with the 3D life-sized Hello Kitty figurines is a must. Why? The reason is because the Hello Kitty is designed to have two ribbons on it’s head!

Menu With International And Local Influences

In the menu, there are Asian food influences, delectable all-day breakfast, tasty side dishes and irresistible desserts for all Kitty’s visitors. If your fingers are itching for some finger food, do try their Hola Nachos! ($15.90). Craving for some wraps? Do check out their Enchanted Forest ($17.90). My recommended dessert is the Hide & Seek ($16.90), which is silky panna cotta drizzled with gula melaka. This Hello Kitty cafe will also change it’s menu monthly so that every customers can get to enjoy fresh dining items all year round.

Hello Kitty Singapore-Exclusive Retail Corner

Believe it or not, there is a Singapore-exclusive merchandise corner located at the entrance of this cafe. From tea blends to grow-it-yourself plant kits, customers can purchase these merchandise and keep them as a memento. Limited to two plush toys per customer, there is a limited edition Hello Kitty plush toy ($49.90 each) and there are only 500 of them! Grab them before they are all gone!
