Caudalie’s New Vinosun Suncare Range is Built for the Whole Family and the Ocean Too

Caudalie is probably best known for its grape-based skincare, but the French brand has quietly built a solid sun care offering over the years. This season, it’s giving that lineup a proper overhaul with a new collection that covers the full spectrum of what most people actually need from a sunscreen in 2026: broad protection, wearable textures, and a cleaner ingredient list.

The new Vinosun range is designed for the whole family, which in practice means the formulas are gentle enough for children and babies while still delivering the kind of protection adults need for daily urban wear and longer sun exposure. All products in the range are water-resistant and carry PA++++ UVA protection, which is the highest available rating. They’re also vegan and free from parabens, phenoxyethanol, PEG, silicones, mineral oils, titanium dioxide, alcohol and animal ingredients. The fragrance is allergen-free, with a light scent of white flowers and coconut water that’s easy to wear without feeling overwhelming.

What’s in the Collection

The hero product making its debut is the Invisible High Protection Spray SPF50 (150ml), a fluid-texture spray with an invisible finish that absorbs quickly and works on both face and body. It’s the kind of product that solves the mid-day reapplication problem without requiring you to carry multiple products or redo your makeup. Safe to say it’ll earn its place in any beach bag this year.

Alongside it sits the Very High Protection Sun Water SPF50+ (150ml), which uses a bi-phase formula to protect face, body and hair without the greasy finish that puts most people off body sunscreens. For those who want something more targeted for the face, the Very High Protection Lightweight Cream SPF50+ (40ml) is fragrance-free and designed for everyday facial use, with an ultra-light texture that sits well under makeup.

For on-the-go moments, the Invisible High Protection Stick SPF50 (15g) covers face, lips and sensitive areas in one swipe. Stick formats have become increasingly popular for a reason: they’re precise, portable and don’t require clean hands to apply, which makes them genuinely useful for quick top-ups.

At the heart of the new collection is something Caudalie calls CollagenSkinProtect technology, a natural-origin antioxidant complex derived from concentrated grapeseed oil. The brand’s heritage with grape-derived ingredients runs deep, so this isn’t a departure from its DNA so much as an extension of it into sun care.

The complex is designed to go beyond basic UV protection by targeting the factors that break down collagen over time, including blue light and infrared rays. According to the brand, it provides 100% protection against blue light and 98% against infrared rays, both of which are increasingly flagged as contributors to premature skin ageing even when UV exposure is limited. Whether you spend more time outdoors or in front of screens, it’s a relevant concern for most people today.

The Sustainability Side

One part of Caudalie’s story that tends to get less attention than its skincare credentials is its approach to environmental responsibility. Since 2020, the brand’s founders have been running a project called 100% Plastic Collect in partnership with Second Life, an initiative operating in Bali and Thailand — two places significantly affected by marine plastic pollution.

The model works by having local communities collect plastic waste from beaches and coastal areas, which is then sorted and recycled on-site into granules that can be repurposed into materials like urban cobblestones. The goal is for Caudalie to collect and recycle as much plastic from the ocean as it generates as a company. To date, the programme has removed 3,800 tonnes of plastic from oceans, rivers and beaches. It’s also the first programme of its kind to be certified by Control Union under the Verra organisation’s Plastic Reduction Standard, which gives it a layer of credibility beyond a marketing claim.
