What’s New at Velocity@Novena Square This May: Lady M, Korean Comfort Food and More

Velocity@Novena Square is giving shoppers fresh reasons to return this season, with a slew of new openings spanning dining, wellness and entertainment from end-April through May 2026. From Lady M’s exclusive Dubai Chocolate Cake launch to Korean comfort food favourite SAM SAM SAM Samgyetang and an indoor drift experience inspired by Japanese touge roads, the Novena mall is sharpening its position as more than just a retail destination.

Leading the latest line-up is the highly anticipated opening of Lady M on 24 April at Level 1. The New York-founded cake boutique, famous for its Signature Mille Crêpes, is unveiling a Velocity@Novena Square exclusive — the Dubai Chocolate Cake — available only at the mall during its launch week from 24 April to 1 May.

Inspired by the viral Dubai chocolate bar trend, the indulgent creation reimagines the flavour profile into Lady M’s signature mille crêpes format. Layers of handcrafted crêpes are paired with chocolate and pistachio pastry creams before being finished with crispy kataifi, pistachio and tahini. The result is a rich dessert that blends French patisserie craftsmanship with the familiar flavours of Middle Eastern knafeh.

Korean food fans can also look forward to the arrival of SAM SAM SAM Samgyetang in May. Located at #02-46, the 2,000 sq ft restaurant specialises in traditional samgyetang — the nourishing Korean ginseng chicken soup beloved for its restorative qualities. The concept comes from the team behind MODU Samgyetang, which helped popularise the dish in Singapore, and will also serve dakgomtang and a wider selection of chicken-based Korean comfort dishes.

The new openings build on a strong line-up of launches already introduced in April. Among them is LONGJING, which opened on 3 April at #03-09. Originating from the Longjing Tea Garden by West Lake in Hangzhou, the restaurant brings Zhejiang cuisine to Singapore with a refined modern touch.

At Velocity@Novena Square, diners can expect an exclusive series of creative Zhejiang dishes created in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Yu Bin. Drawing inspiration from Song Dynasty aesthetics while incorporating contemporary culinary innovation, LONGJING’s opening marks the brand’s second outlet in Singapore.

For those seeking something more adrenaline-fuelled, Dorifto! offers a completely different kind of experience. Opened on 16 April at Carpark 6A, the indoor electronic mini drift car attraction is inspired by Japanese mountain roads and designed to make drifting accessible and entertaining for everyone from seasoned car enthusiasts to curious beginners.

Spanning 14,000 sq ft, the concept transforms part of the mall’s carpark into a vibrant recreational space built by a team of racers. With its neon-lit setup and social atmosphere, Dorifto! injects a playful energy into the mall and adds a new layer of experiential entertainment to the Novena area.

Beyond food and entertainment, Velocity@Novena Square is also expanding its wellness and lifestyle offerings. Japanese stretch therapy brand Dr Stretch opened on 3 April at #03-35, bringing its one-on-one assisted stretching consultations aimed at improving flexibility, posture and recovery.

Meanwhile, Tang Shan TCM & Massage launched on 10 April at #03-33/34, offering a comprehensive range of Traditional Chinese Medicine treatments and massage therapies backed by more than a decade of operations in Singapore.

Wine lovers will also have something to look forward to with the opening of Vivino at #01-81 in May. The retail concept comes from the world’s largest wine app and will feature more than 200 wine labels curated using Singapore consumer preference data and ratings from Vivino’s global community of 70 million users. More than 95 per cent of the wines stocked are rated 4.0 and above, with prices starting from S$19.90.

With a refreshed mix of dining concepts, wellness experiences and lifestyle attractions, Velocity@Novena Square is continuing to evolve beyond a traditional mall experience. Whether it is chasing viral desserts, indulging in comforting Korean soups, drifting through an indoor racetrack or discovering new wine labels, shoppers can expect plenty of reasons to linger a little longer in the months ahead.
