Unwind at Menya Kokoro Ramen Izakaya after a long day of work with a selection of sake, highball and beer, alongside mouth-watering new izakaya bites. You will find delight in the light and refreshing Soba Highball made with the earthy notes of buckwheat from Hokkaido that boasts zero sugar carbo and icy cold Sapporo draft beer (S$5),  For a limited time, you will be able to get a sake sampler set with five different sakes at just S$48.00, with a complimentary side dish of your choice.

Paired with toothsome sides of snacks starting from S$3.90 with the likes of shimesaba (horse mackerel), crispy gyoza skin wrappers with mentaiko potato, kaki fry oyster, Wagyu, okonomiyaki stick and more, our favourite dish was the Tebasaki. It was surprisingly delightful, with the chicken wing being well-seasoned and fried. The meat is tender and does not stick to the bones. The Burdock Chips serve as a good snack for you to munch on as you drink with your mates. They are not only addictive, but also healthier and more nutritious as it aids in digestion.

The Mini Sukiyaki Bowl is a delightful addition to the menu. The Beef Sukiyaki is prepared well and the heartiness of the beef broth both complements and flavours the tofu.

The perfect balance of deep-fried crunch and tenderness, the Tako Karrage is a snack best enjoyed with Sapporo Craft Beer. Menya Koroko Izakaya is running a promotion till 31 December 2022, and you’ll be able to purchase the beer for just S$5 till then.

In contrast to the Tako Karrage, the okonomiyaki was more of a “wet” dish. A nice addition to the menu, the crust of the okonomiyaki was crispy yet the insides of it remained soft. The overall flavour of the okonomiyaki was savoury and went well with the alcohol.
