Apprehensive About Botox? Try Kew Organics’ Needle-less Rejuv Anti-Ageing Skincare Range

I have reached the age where fine lines are starting to appear on my face and I wonder if I should go down the dreaded road of Botox. I say dreaded because I’ve always been apprehensive about invasive aesthetic treatments, having seen the unnatural results on friends who have had Botox and fillers injected.

Now, Singaporean brand Kew Organics has come up with a new range of skincare that seek to address the concerns of people like me – people who want to slow down the process of ageing and yet are not keen on plastic surgery. Enter the new Needle-less Rejuv Anti-Ageing Skincare range by Kew Organics.

Kew Organics has been around since 2014. As the name of the brand suggests, its products are packed with certified organic ingredients and botanicals. Its founder Lily Kew is a firm believer of natural and organic ingredients and personally abstains from invasive medi-aesthetics treatments such as Botox.

To help customers defy the anti-ageing the natural way, Lily has launched a range of new products called Needle-less Rejuv Anti-Ageing Skincare. The new range comprises four products: Tri-Phase Antioxidant Redefining Concentrate (S$195), Triple Strengthening Neck and Décolleté Serum (S$164), Dual Facelift Ageless Booster (S$218) and Bio-Peptides Wrinkle Filler Serum (S$233).

Each of these products are formulated with higher concentrations of active ingredients and targets specific ageing concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, loose skin, lax facial and neck muscles. For example, one of the key ingredients found in Tri-Phase Antioxidant Redefining Concentrate is organic Kakadu Plum, an exotic super-fruit from northwestern Australia – chock-full of antioxidants and vitamins to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Another noteworthy ingredient is Hexapeptide-30, used in Dual Facelift Ageless Booster. It works much like Botox to reduce the appearance of wrinkles caused by repeated facial expressions by rebuilding the key ‘scaffolding’ protein. It promotes the production of collagen-I, an important protein found in over 85 per cent of the skin.

Lily adopts an approach where the facials at Kew Organics combine organic products with high-tech machines that help stimulate the production of collagen and lift facial muscles. To showcase the efficacy of the new Needle-less Rejuv Anti-Ageing Skincare range, Lily customised for me a two-hour Power Tone Bespoke Organic Facial (S$375) that makes use of radio frequency and cryo-therapy. Radio frequency stimulates sub-dermal collagen production to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles while cryo-therapy soothes inflammation and puffiness. The latter also helps the actives in Kew Organics’ products to penetrate deeper into the skin.

The entire experience was pampering and relaxing. My therapist was meticulous and displayed good skincare knowledge and skills. I’m usually particular about extractions and my therapist was one of the most thorough ones I’ve encountered. I walked out of the facial with my face glowing and looking more refreshed than I have in a long while.
