Lululemon has just unveiled its most ambitious and holistic concept store in Southeast Asia — and it’s right in the heart of Orchard Road. Nestled within the iconic Takashimaya Shopping Centre at Ngee Ann City, the Canadian athleisure brand’s newest flagship isn’t just a place to shop. It’s a sanctuary to move, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.
This pioneering concept marks Lululemon’s first-ever retail-meets-wellness collaboration in the region. Teaming up with Singapore’s beloved within studio, the store introduces a fresh vision where style and sweat co-exist harmoniously under one thoughtfully curated roof.
Spanning an impressive 5,994 square feet, the new space sets the tone for a mindful retail experience. Step next door and you’ll find Within Studio’s 1,842-square-foot haven offering yoga and reformer Pilates classes led by seasoned instructors. The dual-concept layout encourages guests to glide seamlessly from browsing Lululemon’s latest technical apparel to flowing through downward dogs or breaking a sweat on the reformer.
The space itself is a lesson in harmony. Geometric light fixtures and warm oak tones are softened by shophouse-inspired ceiling lattices and curved architectural forms. The result is a gentle nod to Singapore’s heritage wrapped in modern wellness sensibilities. It’s the kind of store where movement, mindfulness and meaningful connection feel instinctive — whether you’re selecting a new Align tank or settling into savasana.
Anchored by Community, Inspired by Purpose
At the heart of this launch is Lululemon’s long-standing commitment to community. And no one embodies this ethos better than Betty Kong, founder of within and Lululemon ambassador. A part of the Lululemon family since her Vancouver days over a decade ago, Betty has continued to champion the brand’s values in Singapore through her studio’s emphasis on mindfulness, purpose-driven movement and transformation.
“This space reflects everything I’ve come to understand about the power of slowing down,” shares Betty. “Partnering with Lululemon, where my own wellness journey started, brings a deep sense of purpose. I’m truly excited for the community to explore this unique blend of store and studio — a place to nurture yourself and hold space for one another.”
Opening Celebrations You Won’t Want to Miss
