Café Kitsuné Introduces Barista Fox, Part Chic and Parisian, With Swag of Mischief

If you are a fan of popular French fashion label Maison Kitsuné, or more specifically its F&B offshoot Café Kitsuné, you might have noticed the Barista Fox, a fresh face in the Café Kitsuné universe. This new Fox character depicts an iconic narrator traversing multiple locales and changing colours and shapes throughout the seasons.

As if born from the sketches of Cocteau and Sempé, French artists renowned for their depictions of Parisian life, Barista Box embodies a quirky yet sophisticated French persona. This humorous black and white Barista Fox, also with sharp and graphic features, represents the lively and elegant feel of iconic French brasseries.

Barista Fox is a homage to famous French artists Cocteau and Sempé’s creations.

In her dapper waiter guise, complete with apron and mustache, the Barista Fox embodies the art de vivre of Café Kitsuné and brings a little of Parisian culture to every corner of the globe where the brand holds a presence. A variety of products featuring his ever-present good looks—including hoodies, tees, tote bags, baseball hats, pottery, and tumblers—are available for purchase in all Café Kitsuné outlets.

Café Kitsuné’s Barista Fox’s debut also comes with a new seasonal menu. Treat yourself to the exquisite Matcha Coco Madeleine and the paradisiacal Matcha Strawberry Shortcake; both are bursting with the charm of Paris. Established in 2013, Café Kitsuné can now be found in 27 locations worldwide, capturing cult status among specialty coffee connoisseurs in cities such as Tokyo, Paris, Seoul, New York, Beijing and Vancouver. The 2019 expansion of Café Kitsuné’s operations into additional business lines includes the opening of roasteries, bars and restaurants.
