Chef Andre Chiang Returns to Singapore for an Exclusive Residencey at Raffles Hotel

Restaurant André was one of our favourite restaurants in Singapore and when it shut its doors in 2018, the gourmand in us sobbed. If, like us, you miss the culinary creations of Chef André Chiang , you may want to book a table at Raffles Hotel’s La Dame de Pic next month for an unforgettable dining experience.

An exclusive residency at the Raffles Hotel Singapore marks the triumphant return to Singapore of the internationally acclaimed chef André Chiang, who has been celebrated across prestigious platforms such as the Michelin Guide, The World’s 50 Best Restaurants and the Best Chef’s Top 100 Chefs.

Chef Andre Chiang’s impressive career is characterised by his groundbreaking “Octaphilosophy” culinary concept, which has garnered him praise and admiration worldwide. He was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award by Asia’s 50 Best Restaurant.

Chef André is the only Asian chef to have been shortlisted by Michelin, The World’s 50 Best Restaurants and the Global Top 100 Chefs. He began his culinary career at the age of 13. At the age of 20, he was Taiwan’s youngest French cuisine chef, and by the age of 25, he had ascended to the post of executive chef at the three-Michelin-starred Le Jardin des Sens in Montpellier, France.

His return to Singapore will fulfil his promise to the community that has inspired him to share his culinary expertise.

The epicurean artistry of Chef Andre and his culinary army will be on display during this limited-time engagement, scheduled from 13 to 24 March 2024. At the much-anticipated event, attendees will get the chance to experience the one-of-a-kind dishes created by the esteemed chef and his team.

Lunch and dinner will be served daily throughout the residency. This exclusive 12-course menu, crafted by Chef André, will take you on a culinary journey through the classic dishes of Restaurant André (his iconic Singapore restaurant) and RAW (his two-Michelin starred restaurant in Taiwan). The menu costs S$650++ per person and includes a carefully chosen alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink.

Guests of the Raffles Singapore will be able to immerse themselves in Chef Andre’s culinary paradise at La Dame de Pic for a limited time.  In the meanwhile, Chef Andre will be in the spotlight at La Dame de Pic. Chef de Cuisine Alexandre Alves Pereira of Raffles Singapore and Pastry Chef Clement Cano will be joining Anne-Sophie Pic in Valence to work on a new spring menu.
