By listing and displaying local products in the various NTUC FairPrice stores, it allow consumers to readily acquire local produce. NTUC FairPrice promotes local farmers further by running numerous promotions throughout the year to highlight local produce, as well as having in-store POSMs to communicate the local produce. As a result, it creates demand for local harvest, providing an incentive for local farmers to boost their local production.
