If someone were to ask where to get the best city view in Singapore, chances are the answer would be from the Marina Bay Sands rooftop. However, the view from across Marina Bay Sands is in fact more refreshing and one perfect place to take in the panoramic sights of the bay is waterfront dining destination, Monti.
While Monti is generally known for its authentic and sophisticated Italian cuisine, you might wish to opt for a more casual experience – at Monti’s rooftop bar, no less. This March, Monti has launched a new No Strings Attached promotion that lets you enjoy a two-hour free flow package that encompasses free flow of red and white wines, prosecco, selected spirits and beers.

The mention of free flow alcohol is already compelling enough to make one head down to Monti. But, the restaurant is giving you more reason with new tapas menu items to go with your after-work aperitif. The new food offerings do a good job of satisfying those who feel peckish and need more substantial food than tiny bar bites.

Meat lovers will find delight the BBQ Iberico Pork Skewers (S$22), using Iberico pluma that is known for its depth of flavour and elevated with a rich and sweet port wine glace. Another new menu addition – Fried Caprese (S$16) – makes for a satisfying option for carb lovers; a medley of mozzarella cheese, anchovy and olove tapenade is served atop white bread, paired with tomato, basil, lime and sriracha sauce. And a round of casual evening drinks would feel incomplete without some wings on the side. Served with honey soy sauce on the side, the Deep-Fried Breaded Wing and Drumlet (S$18) is classic bar food that one can never get tired of.
Apart from these new menu items, old favourites such as the Grilled Steak Bite (S$27), Spaghetti Aglio Olio Prawn (S$20) and Margherita Pizza (S$16) remain to satiate your palates as you drink to the sprawling bay view.
Monti’s No Strings Attached promotion is available in two seatings (5pm to 7pm and 7pm to 9pm) at the alfresco area of the restaurant.
