Make Your Own Pizza at Knicker+Bockers

Some of us love having olives on our pizzas while others simply detest them. There is just no way to please everyone but it is not something to worry about at Knicker+Bockers. Over there, you get to choose what ingredient goes onto your pizza – from the type of dough to an endless variety of toppings, meat cuts and veggies.

Inspired by the unique style of pizza parlours in New York, Knicker+Bockers puts its own spin on pizza that usually strikes us as more of an Italian dish. It offers an entirely novel DIY concept, which makes us wonder why it took so long for something so awesome to arrive on our shores. What makes it even better is the limitless amount of toppings you can have for an uber reasonable price of S$12.90.

How my Garlic Pesto Cali Style pizza looked before it was baked: topped with cuts of smoked duck, tuna flakes and a couple of veggies.

You will find yourself spoilt for choice having to choose from four choices of dough, five special sauces, eight kinds of cheese and 40 premium gourmet toppings, which uses premium meat cuts from Swiss Butchery. Best of all, the dough is hand-stretched and freshly baked on the spot, which made me salivate at the thought of it.

My very own Garlic Pesto pizza made with Cali Style dough, which tasted just as good as it looked.

I got to admit that Knicker+Bockers serves up some of the best pizzas in town. The dough the pizza is made of is freshly baked and its crust is impeccably done.

Although the pizza dough was thicker with New York Style (the type of dough being used in Curry Lover), it nailed that fluffiness we all seek in a pizza. There is also something in store for those who prefer a skinner pizza yet one that is not too crispy. If that floats your boat, then Cali style dough is calling out to you.

Curry Lovers pizza was equally as good as the Garlic Pesto pizza but the lightness of the pesto sauce had me sold instead.

While I had expected Curry Lovers to be my favourite, Garlic Pesto pizza won me over instead. I took delight in the fact that their pesto sauce was really light and yet flavoursome. It made me look at pesto sauce in a different light as the pizza places I have been before always had me feeling their sauces were a tad heavy for my liking.

In addition to being on Deliveroo and Foodpanda, Knicker+Bockers also provides delivery to selected locations, allowing you to enjoy the freshly baked pizzas within a certain radius of the designated delivery spots. Also, in line with their recent launch at Raffles, they will be giving away five free pizzas for the winner who can garner the most likes by sharing his or her pizza creation on Facebook.
