The wait is over for iPhone users. Whatsapp Web, the desktop browser version of popular instant messaging app Whatsapp, is now available for Apple’s iOS operating system. This means iPhone users can now type and reply to Whatsapp messages on their computers.
Since January this year, WhatsApp Web has been available to Android users, but WhatsApp could not make the web version available on the iPhone due to “Apple platform limitations”.
To use the web version, go to ‘Settings’ under your WhatsApp in your mobile phone and choose ‘WhatsApp Web’. Thereafter, go to web.whatsapp.com on your computer and scan the QR Code using WhatsApp on your device. The pairing will then start automatically.
