It’s St Patrick’s Day today, but thousands in Singapore have already been celebrating the Irish festival over the past week. The biggest of all celebrations happened last Sunday at Circular Road and Boat Quay where people of all nationalities and ages came decked in the wackiest green gear and turned the streets into a sea of green.
Guinness also ran its biggest and most generous giveaway ever; over 20,000 complimentary pints were offered to fans of the stout. The Guinness pints can be redeemed using Singtel’s mWallet app – available for download by anyone with a smartphone at either Apple’s iTunes App Store or Android’s Google Play. If you have not downloaded the app, it’s not too late – the giveaway ends today. So, you can still enjoy your free pint tonight.
