When Scoot celebrates, you can be sure it celebrates in its usual bright cheery fashion. The Singapore-based budget airline joins in the SG50 celebration by unveiling a special commemorative livery on its newest Boeing 787 Dreamliner today.
Evoking jubilant revelry, the SG50 livery features a huge “Happy 50th Birthday Singapore” message, Singapore’s iconic symbol, the Merlion, crew caricatures and various logos of Scoot’s 21 partners. The unveiling of the SG50 aircraft – named Maju-lah – kicks off Scoot’s SG50 celebrations.
In the run-up to Singapore’s National Day, Maju-Lah will be the venue for Scoot’s “National Day In-flight Party” on 31 July 2015. Members of the public can have a chance to join this sky-high party with celebrities like Kumar and Chua En Lai by joining the contest on Scoot’s Facebook page.
“We are proud to join the SG50 celebrations and show that pride on an aircraft that will be seen around the world for months to come,” remarked Campbell Wilson, Scoot’s Chief Executive Officer.
