Singaporeans dreaming of a quick getaway north of the border may want to make a stop at Suntec Singapore this weekend. GO Malaysia Fair 2026 has officially opened its doors, bringing together travel deals, cultural showcases, Malaysian food experiences and interactive activities under one roof.
Held from 8 to 10 May 2026 at Suntec Singapore’s Atrium, Towers 1 and 2, the three-day fair is organised by Unique Event & Exhibition Pte Ltd and supported by Tourism Malaysia as part of the wider Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign. Entry is free for all visitors.
This year’s edition places a spotlight on Malaysia’s rich cultural diversity and travel experiences, while also highlighting lesser-explored destinations such as Sarawak. From indigenous culture and local delicacies to nature escapes and family-friendly attractions, the fair aims to encourage Singaporeans to rediscover Malaysia beyond the usual city breaks.
One of the biggest crowd-pullers at the event is undoubtedly the grand lucky draw, where one visitor stands a chance to drive home a brand-new Proton e.MAS 5. Visitors will earn one lucky draw chance with every S$200 spent at the fair, with purchases from Auto Vacation qualifying for double chances. The winner will be announced by 31 December 2026 through GO Malaysia’s social media channels.
Beyond the headline prize, the fair is also packed with instant rewards and giveaways. The first 200 visitors daily can enjoy complimentary Sarawak cendol at the “Recharge in Sarawak” booth powered by STATOS, while the first 150 visitors each day can redeem limited-edition Sarawak enamel magnet blind packs.
Travel enthusiasts can also look forward to exclusive fair-only promotions and packages. Among the highlighted offers are 50 per cent off the second night’s stay in Kuching, a three-day Desaru self-drive adventure package complete with meals, as well as travel experiences starting from just S$19 for a farm-to-table experience in Sarawak.
More than just a travel fair, GO Malaysia Fair 2026 aims to immerse visitors in the sights, tastes and culture of Malaysia. Guests can sample Malaysian treats and speciality products from Sarawak, participate in games and quizzes, and join the GO Malaysia Stamp Hunt Challenge for a chance to win prizes. Cooking demonstrations featuring local ingredients and products will also take place throughout the fair.
Visitors who spend a minimum of S$200 can also participate in the Spend & Win promotion, with prizes including a 3D2N stay at Fraser Place Puteri Harbour Johor, UTV adventure rides and other travel-related experiences. Winners for the promotion will be announced during a Facebook livestream on 10 May at 7.30pm.
Cultural performances are another key highlight this year. Wandie Art Performance, a cultural group specially flown in from Kuala Lumpur, will take the stage with performances celebrating Malaysia’s multicultural heritage and traditions.
The fair also features a broad mix of exhibitors spanning tourism boards, travel agencies, hotels, lifestyle brands and transport providers. Participating organisations include Tourism Malaysia, the Sarawak Trade & Tourism Office Singapore, Sabah Trade & Tourism Office Singapore, as well as travel agencies such as EU Holidays, CTC Travel, WTS Travel, Transtar Travel and Amazing Borneo.
Hospitality brands and attractions such as Cocoon Resort Kuching, Theatre Hotel Kuching and Borneo Keranji Farm are also part of the lineup, alongside automotive brand Proton and transportation providers Wahdah and TrevaBook.
The fair comes as Malaysia ramps up efforts for Visit Malaysia 2026, a nationwide tourism campaign that focuses not just on attracting travellers, but also on promoting sustainable tourism development in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Tourism Malaysia says the campaign aims to spotlight the country’s natural landscapes, cultural heritage and tourism offerings while driving long-term benefits for local communities and businesses.
For Singaporeans looking for a short-haul holiday with familiar comforts, good food and new experiences, GO Malaysia Fair 2026 offers a convenient opportunity to plan the next escape — whether that means a food trip to Kuching, an adventure in Sabah, or simply discovering a different side of Malaysia.
GO Malaysia Fair 2026 runs from 8 to 10 May 2026, from 11am to 9pm daily at Suntec Singapore, Atrium, Tower 1 & 2, Level 1. More information can be found at gomalaysia.sg.
