French luxury house and manufacturer of fine crystal Baccarat has roared its way into the Year of the Dragon with a new bar partnership with the MO BAR at the Mandarin Oriental in Singapore.
This partnership with MO BAR is a part of the luxury house’s Baccarat Cocktail World Tour and will take place over two months, beginning in February 2024 and ending in March 2024. It will involve an exclusive engagement with MO BAR Singapore and MO BAR Shenzhen.
As part of their collaboration, the master mixologists at MO BAR will create cocktails that are sure to impress. These cocktails will then be presented in Baccarat’s sparkling crystal barware, adding an extra touch of elegance to each sip.
Baccarat’s brilliance originates from the artists’ passion upon the brand’s 1764 inception. Crafting a crystal of unparalleled purity and beauty by combining the four elements found in nature: air, earth, fire, and water. Over the last 260 years, Baccarat has won innumerable awards for their exquisite craftsmanship and method, and they are always inventing new ways to improve their trade. With the same fervour, the brand has become an expert at crafting breathtaking pieces of art that illuminate every space in the house and leave guests in awe.

The cooperation marks the beginning of a regional collaboration with MO BAR Singapore, who will also serve two of the drinks at their Shenzhen location, as part of the celebrations of the magnificent Lunar New Year of the Dragon.

These are the pleasure ripples:
Blue Manhattan
Served in Baccarat Masséna Flute. It is a mix of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Home-made PX Sherry + Rosso, and Hinoki Bitters.
A bittersweet cocktail with warm raisin overtones and the aroma of sweet fruit from the PX, made with a variation on the classic Manhattan utilizing the oaky finish of Hinoki Bitters. It brings back nostalgic feelings of New York City and pays respect to Baccarat’s Masséna Flute, the flute that bears its name.
Walker Sour
Served in Baccarat Narcisse Coupe, it has Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Bourbon Oak Barrel Syrup, Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Citrus and Egg White.
Dreams and passions are mirrored in the creamy mixture, which has a sweet and sour balance. The Blue Label whisky combines vanilla, honey, and rose petals with citrus aromas that harmonise. Is that sweet? Is that a mixed drink? Asking why not both is a logical approach. As you sip from the elegant Narcisse Champagne Coupe, give some thought to which one it is.
Disaronno Expectations
Served in Baccarat Harmonie Highball and features Mezcal, Disaronno Amaretto, Verjuice, Clarified Pineapple Juice, and Egg White.
Mixing mezcal and almond in amaretto liqueur, the Disaronno Expectations creates a tropical but smokey character. The tartness of the verjuice balances the sugar and brings out the smokey aftertaste. The hazy beverage, which surprises with every sip, is the ideal way to unwind after a hard day.
Insomniac
Served in Baccarat Beluga Tumbler and it has Osmanthus Aged Rum, Mr Black Coffee, Coconut Water, Black Cocoa and Orange Bitters.
The caffeine in this drink will give you a jolt of adrenaline. Insomniac is a refreshing cocktail that is perfect for raising a glass to the dawn, thanks to its delicate flowery osmanthus rum flavour and chocolate undertones.
In keeping with the brand’s central belief—that any given moment can be elevated to a joyful one—these custom drinks were crafted in collaboration with MO BAR. Served from 31 January to 29 February 2024, at MO BAR, Mandarin Oriental, Singapore, the Baccarat Ripples of Pleasure drinks cost $38++ each.
