People with exceptional sense of scent were welcomed to roam The Highlands at Jo Malone London Pop-up events that took place throughout Singapore. An abundance of dried blossoms paired with deep purple colours took visitors to the spectacular world of the highlands, creating a wild yet exquisite ambiance.
Customers also sampled four limited-edition colognes inspired by Scotland’s hazy moors. What’s the primary purpose of all these pop-ups? Jo Malone of London’s The Highlands collection just debuted in Singapore, marking the region’s pioneering market in the Asia-Pacific region.
Debuting Jo Malone Scents
This new limited-edition collection was inspired by the wild beauty of the Scottish Highlands. Imagine a setting where the magnificent wilderness, heather-clad slopes and historic castles abounds.
The new scents include the following.
Melancholy Thistle: Vivid and brazen A fortress in the Scottish Highlands is protected by melancholy thistles. This aromatic, woodsy fragrance is grounded by coolwood to evoke the ivy-covered stone walls within a stately antiquity, and its green freshness is woven throughout the perfume.
Highland Heather: The mist of the morning lifts to expose a heather-covered wasteland across the Highlands. Inspired by the allure of amethyst, this woodsy fragrance features notes of English lavender, cypress, and seductive amber.
Mallow on the Moor: Wildflower fields of purple mallow attract buzzing insects like bees. These lovely petals flutter alongside heliotrope’s powdery smell in this natural flower fragrance.
Wild Achillea: Wild achillea blooms of gold frame verdant ruins in the distance. Greenness balanced on a base of gentle white musk, with sparkling bergamot intertwined with the tart bite of nettle.
You can create your own unique Scent Layer by combining Melancholy Thistle with any of the other colognes in the set. Combine it with Mallow On The Moor for a captivating flowery woodsy fragrance. You can make a wild and bracing, fresh woodsy perfume by mixing Highland Heather with Wild Achillea, or you can make a fresh, fragrant, and energising scent by mixing Wild Achillea with Highland Heather.
The Sweet Smell of Sustainability
In keeping with Jo Malone London’s dedication to sustainability, the colognes in The Highlands collection are made at a facility that uses solar power and 100% renewable electricity to produce them. The traditional cream gift boxes are constructed using FSC-certified, recycled materials (at least 70% of the total). In addition to being made from FSC-certified paper, the classic cream Jo Malone London shopping bags are also biodegradable and recyclable.
From 15 April 2023, the scents will be sold only via the Jo Malone Singapore online store (jomalone.com.sg), as well as at all Jo Malone London stores, select Sephora locations, and Sephora.sg. Prices start from S$130 for 30ml.
