You might have heard of The Floral Atelier. Or possibly, The Wedding Atelier. For the uninitiated, these two in fact are under the same family of The Atelier & Co. Founded by Singaporean Lelian Chew, the Atelier & Co. has just unveiled its brand new global headquarters, a sprawling space of 7,000 square feet housed within Delta House in Singapore.
If you – like us – love all things floral and girly, you would fall head over heels with The Atelier & Co.’s new home. Upon entry, you will be greeted by a huge display of gorgeous preserved flowers. But that is not the centrepiece of The Atelier & Co. – the crown jewel is actually a glass-walled flower room known as The Crystal Cube.
Set right in the middle of The Atelier & Co., The Crystal Cube keeps all the fresh blooms from around the world. The temperature is set between 2 and 10 degree Celsius to keep the flowers in the finest conditions. Immersed in the sweet floral scents, you would be reluctant to leave The Crystal Cube.
Flowers are not all that The Atelier & Co. has to offer. For the first time ever, cult Korean fragrance brand Soohyang will have its products for sale exclusively at The Atelier & Co. Packaged in hues of girly pink, Soohyang’s products range from candles to diffusers to room sprays. What we love about Soohyang is how it names its candles – from “Boy’s Neck” to “Girl’s Neck” to “New Shoes”. The scents are so intoxicating we want them all.
Soohyang is not the only brand that The Atelier & Co. is collaborating with. Home-grown pastry chef Janice Wong will also create custom hand-painted flower bonbons with floral inspired flavours, in partnership with The Atelier & Co.
In addition to being a retail space, The Atelier & Co. will also be conducting floral masterclasses and experiential workshops, open to members of the public. There are also event spaces for hire if you are looking to hold a private function.
The Atelier & Co. is located at 2 Alexandra Road, Delta House, Level 8 Singapore 159919. Opening hours are from 10am to 7pm.
