Pokémon GO trainers, get ready to catch ’em all! Southeast Asia’s first ever Pokémon GO Safari Zone where you can get the chance to see Pokémon both online and offline.
Here’s what you can expect at the event:
World’s first 6-metre-tall Lapras inflatable
Every event needs an Instagrammable spot and at the Pokémon GO Safari Zone, it has to be the world’s first 6-metre-tall Lapras inflatable at Palawan Beach, amongst many other photo points spanning across the Sentosa Boardwalk to Tanjong Beach.
Pikachu Meet-and-Greet
Get up close and personal with Pikachu in adorable costumes at the daily free meet-and-greet sessions at Palawan Beach and Tanjong Beach. Three sessions are at 11.30am, 2.30pm and 4.00pm daily during the event period.
Buy exclusive Pokémon merchandise
Aside from the above-mentioned, you can also bring home official Pokémon plushies from the Pokémon pop-up store at Palawan Green and potentially catch rare Pokémon like Unown and Shuckle.
If the Singapore heatwave is unbearable, you can take a break at the Players Lounges along Palawan and Tanjong Beach. These lounges are themed in the colours of the three iconic teams ; Mystic, Valor and Instinct. Here, you can interact, trade tips and even Pokémons with other trainers.
Those feeling peckish can head over to the food carts located at Palawan Green, Palawan Beach and Tanjong Beach for some light bites.
All you have to do to check into the event is print the QR code you’ve received via email and scan the printed QR Code using the Pokémon GO app. There are TWO virtual check-in PokéStops, located at Resorts World Sentosa and Palawan Green. The check-in locations will also be visible in your Pokémon GO application so you don’t have to worry about not being able to find it.
This event is happening from 18 to 22 April at Sentosa.
