When it comes to instrumental music, a name that might instantly spring to mind would be Kenny G – one of the most best-selling instrumental musicians of all time with global record sales of over 75 million.
Come 8 November 2018, fans of Kenny G will be treated to a one-night-only concert in Singapore at the Star Theatre. You can expect to hear pieces from his album “The Brazilian Nights”, which was released in 2015. The album was a result of Kenny G’s tour in Brazil, where he fell in love with the bossa nova genre and decide to include the sounds into his new album.
Kenny G is a winner of several music awards, including a Grammy for Best Instrumental Composition during his career which spans almost three decades. He has also collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Michael Bolton, Weezer, Whitney Houston and Katy Perry, among many others. The award-winning saxophonist last gave a concert in Singapore in 2015.
