Fast becoming a force to be reckoned with, HUAWEI looks to set to conquer more of the smartphone market with its new HUAWEI nova 3i smartphone. The Chinese phone manufacturer unveiled the mid-range nova 3i at an exclusive media event yesterday at AVRY Singapore.
HUAWEI’s higher end smartphone models the likes of the P20 launched in March this year have been enjoying tremendous success with its cutting-edge technology, particularly in the phone camera department. The company aims to repeat the same level of success with the budget-conscious market segment with the nova 3i, which boasts premium features at an affordable price range.
The new smartphone is the only mid-range model that offers front-facing dual cameras with AI support. Four AI cameras (front: 24MP and 2MP; rear: 16MP and 2MP) elevate the photography experience for the average user. The dual cameras allow you to take photos with bokeh effects, akin to those taken with professional cameras to create depth of field.
The nova 3i is also one of the first smartphones to feature scenery recognition technology for front-facing cameras. Its AI-powered intelligent software can adjust your photos accordingly; it can make the sky bluer, the grass greener and the sand on beaches more granular. In other words, you don’t have to do post-processing for your photos anymore.
Other key features of the HUAWEI nova 3i include:
- A gradient coloured rear featuring a special textured film underneath a glass back;
- The newest generation of FullView display at 6.3-inch and supporting FHD+ (2340×1080);
- The latest EMUI 8.2, featuring Huawei’s first quad-core Kirin 710 chip, specifically designed for the nova series.
The HUAWEI nova 3i is available in two colours – Iris Purple and Black, retailing at S$398. The public launch in Singapore is on 28 July 2018 at Waterway Point Shopping Mall.
