Singapore is in pretty much of a scramble preparing for the highly anticipated meeting between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un. One hotel in Singapore – nope, not Capella nor the Shangri-La – has decided to join in the fun by coming up with (drumroll, please) a Trump-Kim Burger.
Yep, you read that right.
The chefs at Royal Plaza on Scotts has created a Trump-Kim Burger and a Summit Iced Tea (for those involved to weather the heat, we suppose) in honour of the much talked-about meeting. These amusing culinary creations will be available from 8 to 15 June 2018 at Scotts Lounge of the hotel.
The menu is a combination of American and Korean influences. The grilled Trump-Kim Burger (S$12++) is made up of minced chicken and kimchi patty, seaweed, with Korean rice rolls and fries. Summit Iced Tea (S$6++) is concocted by infusing iconic Korean flavour honey yuzu into traditional iced tea, which originated from America.
Well, if you can’t get a piece of the real action, the least you could do is have a taste of it?
