Restaurant reservation platforms the likes of Chope and Quandoo have made lives easier for us when it comes to booking a table for a meal. Then again, there is this added hassle of having to download different apps or being redirected to separate booking sites when we want to simply make a reservation with ease. Well, now you can skip all these extra steps and make reservations directly on Google Maps and Search.
Google has introduced a new “Reserve with Google” feature today for Singapore. With this new feature, you can now search for a restaurant, view its real-time availability and make reservations directly on Google Maps and Search by clicking on the “Find a Table” button.
This new feature is a result of a partnership with three leading restaurant reservation platforms in Singapore — Chope, HungryGoWhere and Quandoo.
Google first piloted its Reserve with Google service in the United States in December 2016, allowing users to book fitness classes in Los Angeles, New York and the San Francisco Bay Area.
