It’s the one event that whisky aficionados in Singapore and the region keep a lookout for. Into its eighth instalment this year, Whisky Live Singapore 2017 is Southeast Asia’s biggest premier whisky and spirits show. Happening on 25 and 26 November 2017, this yearly sold-out event will be taking place on the grounds of Theatreworks, a pre-war heritage building on Mohamed Sultan Road.
The organisers aim to alleviate the experience for visitors to the event this year. “Whisky and spirits appreciation is an art. With the theme of ‘Rare, Share, Pair’, we want to bring forth a different and immersive experience for our guests by offering not only the taste of fine spirits but a coup d’oeil of the artistic creativity that goes into the making, marketing and bottle craft of various ingenious brands,” said Mathieu Musnier, General Manager, La Maison du Whisky, organiser of Whisky Live Singapore.
Whisky Live Singapore will feature an art gallery, showcasing whisky and spirit art through the years. Also to be unveiled at the event – for the first time in Southeast Asia – will be Nikka Coffrey Gin, Nikka Coffrey Vodka, an Old Pulteney 25-year-old and the 1983 vintage Old Pulteney.
Visitors can expect samplings of over 50 brands and 150 expressions of whiskies and spirits all under one rook at the event.
