It’s a bird. It’s a plane. It’s Boeing Boeing! Yes, fasten your seat belts and sit tight because W!LD RICE’s Boeing Boeing is back in town this June.
Previously played to sold-out houses, W!LD RICE’s production of the Tony-Award-winning comedy returns to tickle audiences. It made its debut in Singapore in 2002 at Raffles Hotel’s Jubilee Hall, and was also the first production to set the play in Asia. Boeing Boeing saw another two stagings in 2005 and 2010 due to overwhelming demand.
This time, Boeing Boeing falls under the direction of Pam Oei, who was also part of the local casts in 2002 and 2005.
“Boeing Boeing ranks right up there as one of the most favourite shows I have ever performed in,” said Oei.
This time, Oei aims to bring the house down with a brand new company of artists and theatre-makers. Taking the stage will be some of Singapore’s funniest actors such as Rodney Oliveiro, Oon Shu An, Judee Tan and Shane Mardjuki.
“Audiences are in for the time of their lives,” promised Oei.
We can hardly wait.
