Young man, there’s no need to feel down. Because Village People – of the hugely iconic 1978 disco hit ‘Y.M.C.A.’ – is making its way to Singapore this May.
As part of their 40th Anniversary Live Tour, the American disco phenomenon – including original members Felipe Rose and Alexander Briley – will perform some of their popular hits over two nights on 18 and 19 May at Marina Bay Sands. Get ready to groove to songs such as ‘Go West’, ‘San Francisco/In Hollywood’, ‘Macho Man’, ‘Can’t Stop the Music’ and of course ‘Y.M.C.A.’.
Sharing the stage with Village People for the two-night performance will be special guests Bjorn Again. An acclaimed ABBA tribute act, Bjorn Again is known for their renditions of timeless ABBA songs, and has been endorsed by original ABBA members Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus.
