Marvel comic fans, rejoice! The highly successful Marvel Avengers Scientific Training and Tactical Intelligence Operative Network (or S.T.A.T.I.O.N.) exhibition at Las Vegas, Paris and New York is now operational at the Singapore Science Centre.
The whole exhibition will bring a smile to every Marvel fan young or old. The main characters in the Marvel cinematic universe such as Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Ant-Man and Falcon are given a quick introduction that even a non-Marvel fan will be quick to catch on.
Kids will have a fun time learning real scientific concepts and facts at the exhibition too. We are led through a brief insight into the transformation of Doctor Bruce Banner to the Hulk at the Molecular level and the effect the change has on his brain. For movie buffs, there are also exhibits of the real armaments and costumes used in the movies. Don’t forget to take some selfies!
The real draw of the exhibition is its ability to let the audience immerse themselves completely in the Marvel Universe. Upon entering the hall, each visitor is given a device that will provide an introduction to each exhibit, and if you wish, complete a pop Quiz at the end of each exhibit.
You will also find interactive activities such as testing your grip strength and reaction time. The highlight of the whole exhibition is definitely donning a virtual Iron Man suit and blasting the Chitauri (aliens that invaded New York in the first Avengers movie) to smithereens.
At the end of the whole training at S.T.A.T.I.O.N., you have the option to print out your new SHIELD agent ID card (S$15) to complete the experience!
The exhibit will last from 29 October 2016 till 5 March 2017.
