UNIQLO fans in Singapore have a new reason to rejoice. The clothing label is set to open its first global flagship store in Singapore in the second half of this year. Said to be the largest not just in Singapore but also in the region, the new store will be located at Orchard Central along Orchard Road.
“We are very honoured, and excited, to open our first UNIQLO Global Flagship Store in Singapore. Having been a member of the local retail scene since 2009, we remain committed towards contributing to the local community and being an integral part of Singapore’s growth and future,” commented Taku Morikawa, UNIQLO Southeast Asia CEO, on the new store. “We will continue our effort to design and create innovative clothes that enrich the daily lives of people, as a reflection of our LifeWear philosophy.”
About the size of 2,700 square metres, the Singapore Global Flagship Store will feature an extensive range of the latest lines for women, men, kids and babies, across three levels in Orchard Central. The date of the opening is yet to be announced.
UNIQLO’s global flagship stores today are found in key locations such as New York’s Fifth Avenue, London’s Oxford Street and Ginza in Tokyo.
