Hello Kitty mania will quite possibly strike again soon in Singapore. We are pretty sure fans of the cat with no mouth will be ecstatic to know a Hello Kitty-themed café will open in Singapore in May. Called Hello Kitty Orchid Garden, the 84-seater café will open at Changi Airport Terminal 3 and serve you kawaii food and beverages round the clock (yes, you’ve read that right).
Hello Kitty Orchid Garden, as the name suggests, will take on a ‘garden city’ vibe; Singapore’s national flower – the orchid – will feature prominently with the beloved Sanrio character for a uniquely Singaporean feel at the cafe. The menu will include items such as all-day breakfast fare and desserts, Hello Kitty-themed of course.
There are also plans for a retail corner where Singapore-exclusive merchandise will be sold. Think Hello Kitty-inspired tea blends, plush toys, grow-it-yourself plant kits, postcards and tea cups.
