The rumours are true – there is really a new 4-inch iPhone. Apple has just announced the iPhone SE, the company’s first concerted effort at building a small phone ever since it decided to go big with the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
The new iPhone SE is essentially an iPhone 6S in a 5S case, packing in the same A9 and M9 chips. The camera is also an upgraded 12-megapixel one with Live Photos and 4K video. There is also support for Apple Pay in the new iPhone SE.
Touted as the most competitively priced iPhone, the new iPhone SE will be available in Singapore on 31 March 2016. Pre-orders will start from 24 March 2016. The new phone will come in Space Grey, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold metallic finishes in 16GB and 64GB at S$658 and S$828 respectively from apple.com/sg, Apple Authorised Resellers, Singtel, M1 and StarHub.
