3 New Reasons to Love Häagen-Dazs

For an ice-cream enthusiast such as myself, accepting an invitation to attend a tasting session with one of my all time favourite brands was a no brainer. I’ve been devouring Häagen-Dazs’ delectable flavours for as long as I can remember, albeit at the expense of my waistline.

If one ever needs an excuse to forgo one’s diet plans, the introduction of three new fruity flavours from Häagen-Dazs to kick off the summer season may be reason enough! Mango & Raspberry, Blueberries & Cream and the limited edition Yuzu Citrus & Cream are the latest creations sent to tantalise your taste buds by the premium ice cream maker.

(Limited Edition) Yuzu Citrus & Cream uses Yuzu fruit from Japan and sweet orange juice from Brazil to create an intense citrus sauce swirled into rich, creamy ice cream for a uniquely intense taste.

Blueberries & Cream is made with real blueberries from Canada and Europe that gives it a dark indigo colour without any colouring, and achieves the perfect balance of intense indulgence and juicy refreshment.

Mango & Raspberry combines the superb honeyed taste of mango with a tinge of sharp raspberries; this taste sensation is bound to awaken the senses on a hot summer day.

Also new to the summer menu is a mix of delectable dessert creations and beverages that will leave you with more than enough options for your after-dinner sweet tooth. I was lucky enough to be treated to the Brioche Fruitee – a thick slice of buttery, toasted brioche topped with each of the new flavours, Yuzu Citrus & Cream, Blueberries & Cream and my favourite Mango & Raspberry. Can you say heaven?

Other new desserts include the Parfait Trilogy featuring mini ice-cream parfaits with each of the three new flavours in one decadent dessert, the Yuzu Citrus float which combines sparking lemonade, peach and a scoop of ice-cream in a light drink, as well as the luxuriously smooth Blueberries & Cream and Mango & Raspberry milkshakes.
