The brand new Sentosa cable car line has officially launched on 14 July 2015. This $78 million investment now gives visitors an alternative mode of transport within the island, aside from the current shuttle bus, trams and monorail.
There are three Sentosa stations servicing the new line – Merlion, Imbiah Lookout and Siloso Point stations. Aside from transportation purposes, guests are able to get an exceptional view over Sentosa’s canopy and the Siloso Beach. Be it day or night time, it is definitely worth the time and experience trying the cable car ride.
As part of Sentoa’s SG50 celebrations, rides on the Singapore Cable Car Sky network will be complimentary to all Singaporeans and Permanent Residents from 9 am to 9 pm on 10 August 2015. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to explore the island with family and friends over the long weekend! Lots of activities are lined up, including complimentary tickets to Wings of Time and free entry to Sentosa Merlion.
As an extension to the current Mount Faber cable car line, special packages have been put together for guests to enjoy both rides:
- Skypass (Mount Faber & Sentosa): $29 for adults, $18 for children [tourist]
- Skypass (Mount Faber & Sentosa): $19 for adults, $12 for children [Singaporeans and Permanent Residents]
