Shopping fans, rejoice! American Eagle Outfitters has finally reached the shores of Singapore. The US clothing brand opened the doors to its first store on the island on 19 June 2015 at VivoCity.
Spanning 4,000 square feet, the flagship boutique is probably a dream come true for those who have been yearning for this brand to reach our local shores. With its strong American culture influence, you can find yourself being greeted with rows of jeans and more casual laid-back wear filling the entire boutique.
An exclusive Media Preview Party was held on 18 June for members of the media and invited guests, with more than 300 attendees gracing the store opening. Hosted by popular radio DJ Sonia Chew, the music played kept the entire store buzzing with activity as the crowd explored the newly opened boutique.
American Eagle Outfitters also sure knew how to keep its guests engaged and occupied. With glasses of champagne served alongside bags of popcorn, delectable Krispy Kreme doughnuts and canapés such as Wagyu beef burgers and grilled prawn skewers for guests, the shopping experience got even better.
What I had especially liked about the store was its exceptional range of affordable yet high-quality jeans. From cuts such as Slim Straight, Super Skinny and Original Taper for men to Jeggings, Skinny and Boy Jean for women, you will be left spoilt for choice.
