ZALORA, Asia’s online fashion destination, officially unveiled its latest Eid collection by Malaysia’s renowned fashion designer, Rizalman Ibrahim on 27 May 2015 at the Chin Woo Stadium. The event was given a 1970’s movie theatre theme, in line with the screening of ‘Lara’, Rizalman’s first short film shot in Malaysia and Turkey. Rizalman’s directorial debut stars the legendary Fauziah Nawi, and popular Malaysian actress, Scha Alyahya, both of whom wore Rizalman outfits in the movie.
Rizalman’s signature designs present a fresh take on traditional garb for the festive season and everyday wear. Outfits are given a modern uplift while upholding the ladylike sensibility in their designs. Embellishments are kept minimal as Rizalman focused on the use of beautiful and innovative fabrics to elevate the elegance of each piece, perfect for fans of drama and pop music culture.
