What happens when one of the world’s most talked-about beauty brands takes over a café? You get a sun-drenched playground where lattes meet lip kits, pastries meet pigment, and beauty lovers finally get to sip, snap and shop all in one go.
This September, Kylie Cosmetics is taking over Alani, a chic Greek rooftop café in the heart of Singapore’s CBD, for its first-ever café takeover in Singapore. Running across two long weekends from 11 to 14 September and again from 18 to 21 September, the event promises more than just coffee and cake. It is a full-on celebration of Kylie Jenner’s latest launches, complete with Instagrammable bites, creative workshops and plenty of pink to keep the spirit of summer alive.
A café with a Kylie twist
Stepping into Alani during this limited-time takeover will feel like walking straight into Kylie’s world. Guests are greeted with Kylie pink accents, playful photo backdrops and a Polaroid wall that encourages everyone to strike their fiercest summer pose. The transformation of Alani is not only about beauty products, it is also about creating a lifestyle experience that feels both indulgent and approachable.

The menu is a star attraction in its own right. For S$38++, guests can enjoy a curated meal inspired by Kylie Cosmetics. Squid Ink Crumpets make an unexpected but striking savoury option, while sweet tooths will be delighted by Candied Rose Petal and Pink Peppercorn Cinnamon Rolls. To round off the experience, Matcha Cookies with freeze-dried strawberries are included. Each set comes with a mocktail or cocktail, along with a sample of Kylie Cosmetics to take home.
For those who want to blend artistry with creativity, the café is also hosting a watercolour workshop at S$55 per session. The activity includes a drink and a Glossy Lip Kit of your choice, topped off with a customisable charm. It is a chance to leave with not just your own artwork, but also one of Kylie’s most anticipated products, making the workshop both interactive and rewarding.

To sweeten the experience further, early birds will be rewarded. The first 50 guests each day receive a S$20 voucher towards Kylie Cosmetics products. Guests who spend S$150 or more can also walk away with an exclusive Alani set inspired by Kylie, adding yet another reason to shop and indulge.
Glossy lips, reimagined
The café takeover celebrates the arrival of Kylie Cosmetics’ latest innovation, the Glossy Lip Kit. Nearly 10 years after the original Matte Lip Kit became a global sensation, Kylie is revisiting her debut product with a new high-shine finish. Each Glossy Lip Kit includes the Precision Pout Lip Liner paired with the Supple Kiss Lip Glaze, creating a polished and plump look that feels both effortless and glamorous.

Available in six curated shades, the collection takes the guesswork out of matching liners with glosses. Choices include Kylie, a soft dusty rose, Candy Pink, a vibrant pop of colour, Dolce K, a taupe nude, and Espresso, a deep, rich brown. Each pairing is designed to deliver a contoured, glossy pout that lasts. Kylie Jenner herself summed it up perfectly when she said, “The Glossy Lip Kit contains my favourite formulas, in pre-paired shades for an easy, ready-to-go lip routine”.
Fans will be pleased to know that the formulas are clean and vegan, with no parabens, gluten or animal-derived ingredients, making them suitable for those who want beauty without compromise.

A blush that changes the game

Alongside the Glossy Lip Kit comes the Hybrid Blush, another innovative launch that takes centre stage at the café. The formula is unlike anything currently on the market. It is not quite a cream, not quite a powder, but a hybrid of both. Lightweight, silky and highly pigmented, it melts into the skin like a cream while providing the smoothing, soft-focus finish of a powder.
The Hybrid Blush is launching in four flattering shades, each one designed to deliver a fresh and natural flush. Cheeky Mood is a pink coral that works well for a healthy, everyday glow. Winter Kissed 2.0 revisits an iconic Kylie shade with a cool pink update. Summer Sorbet is a soft peach that channels the warmth of the season, while Petal offers a neutral pink perfect for daily wear. With up to 12 hours of wear, sweat and humidity resistance, and a formula that does not cake or patch, this blush is particularly well suited for Singapore’s tropical weather.
Where beauty meets lifestyle
What makes the Kylie Cosmetics x Alani takeover truly special is how it marries beauty with lifestyle in a way that feels seamless and joyful. This is not a standard product launch in a store or a beauty counter activation. It is a pop-up experience that invites guests to taste, touch, and play with the brand in a holistic way.
Between sipping on pink-themed cocktails, snapping Polaroids against custom backdrops, and walking away with the latest in lip and blush innovation, guests are immersed in a space where beauty feels celebratory rather than transactional. It is a reminder that makeup today is as much about experience as it is about application.
As the Glossy Lip Kits and Hybrid Blush hit shelves, the café takeover offers a first taste of what these launches are all about. With its limited run and highly photogenic setup, the event is poised to become the city’s most talked-about beauty experience this month.
So grab your friends, block off your weekend, and head to Alani.
