Skytrax announced the 2016 World Airline Awards at a gala event at the Famborough Airshow in the UK held yesterday. Taking the top accolade of World’s Best Airline is golf carrier Emirates.
This award marks the fourth time Emirates has won it in the awards history, and the airline has risen five spots to lead the pack. Qatar Airways, which was last year’s winner, takes second place this year, while Singapore Airlines drops a spot to third place.
