Rally in Style at the Singapore General Election 2015

It’s Nomination Day in Singapore today. To many, today’s the day when the fun begins. Fierce campaigning and rallies will kick off and last till Election Day on 11 September. If you want to be in the thick of the action, how then can you show your support for your favourite political party?

Singapore illustrator Joshua Chiang has put together a T-shirt collection called “SG Polit-icons”, inspired by the minimalistic design of the National Art Gallery of Singapore and the looks of 8-bit Atari games icons from the 1980s. The designs depict some familiar political personalities – past and present – with cheeky humour. No matter what your political leanings are, you’ll be amused by the designs.

See if you can recognise the characters.
