Chinese smartphone brand vivo has unveiled the new X300 FE in Singapore, positioning it as a lightweight flagship smartphone that blends professional-grade imaging capabilities with a compact, everyday-friendly design.
Launching officially on 6 June 2026, the vivo X300 FE is aimed at users who want serious camera performance without carrying around a bulky device. Weighing just 191g and measuring 7.99mm thin, the phone combines ZEISS co-engineered imaging, AI-powered photography tools, flagship-level performance and long battery life in a sleek form factor.
At the heart of the X300 FE is its camera system. The device features a 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera, 50MP ZEISS Main Camera and a 110-degree ultra-wide camera, designed to handle everything from travel photography to concerts and sporting events.
One of the biggest highlights is the introduction of the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2, which allows users to extend the focal length to an equivalent of 200mm — a first for the FE series. The external telephoto accessory uses a compact Kepler-based optical architecture with 15 high-transmittance glass elements, while reducing the weight from 210g to 153g compared to the previous generation.
This makes the X300 FE particularly appealing for concert-goers and travellers who want to capture distant subjects with clarity and detail. vivo has also incorporated its AI True Clarity Engine, combining multiple imaging technologies to improve texture reconstruction and image sharpness, especially in difficult lighting conditions.
Concert photography appears to be a major focus for the device. vivo’s dedicated Stage Mode combines telephoto hardware with algorithmic enhancements to improve portrait clarity under complex lighting conditions commonly found at live performances. Features such as Ultra-Clear Stage Photography, Dual-View Stage Video and adaptive zoom flash are designed to help users capture both the performance and their personal reactions in a more immersive way.
For users who prefer a more artistic style of photography, the X300 FE also introduces a Street Photography Mode that embraces natural grain, subtle motion blur and ambient lighting variations to create more atmospheric and humanistic images. ZEISS Multifocal Portrait further allows users to shoot portraits across multiple focal lengths ranging from 23mm to 100mm.
Video creators are also likely to appreciate the phone’s capabilities. The X300 FE supports 4K recording at 60fps for vlogging, 4K at 120fps for ultra-smooth footage and even 8K recording at 30fps for high-definition content creation.
Beyond imaging, vivo is heavily integrating AI into the user experience. The AI Creative Camera suite includes features such as AI Portrait, AI Magic Move, AI Image Expander, AI Reflection Erase and AI Erase, allowing users to edit and stylise their images more intuitively.
Design-wise, the X300 FE adopts a clean flat-edge aesthetic with ultra-narrow bezels and a 6.31-inch flat display designed for comfortable one-handed use. The Metallic Sand AG glass back features an upgraded matte texture for improved fingerprint resistance, while the aerospace-grade aluminium frame enhances durability without adding unnecessary bulk.
The phone will be available in two colourways — Mist Purple and Luxe Black — both designed to reflect a modern urban aesthetic.
Under the hood, the X300 FE runs on the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform and is supported by an advanced liquid cooling system to maintain stable performance during gaming and content creation. Despite its slim body, the device houses a sizeable 6500mAh BlueVolt Battery with 90W FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging support.
The phone also comes with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, alongside a strong software support promise that includes five years of OS upgrades and seven years of security maintenance.
The vivo X300 FE will retail in Singapore from S$1,099 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the Telephoto Extender Kit starts from S$299. Customers who purchase the phone together with the telephoto kit can enjoy a bundled promotional price of S$1,298 until 14 June 2026.
Pre-orders run from 25 May to 5 June 2026 via Shopee, Lazada, TikTok and authorised retailers including Challenger, Best Denki, Courts, Harvey Norman, Gain City and Popular.
