This month, you may sense a change as you step into Sentosa Island via the Sentosa Express. As you step out from the station, familiar infrastructures — cable car terminals, pedestrian walkways, and beachfront edges — are quietly redefined by Disney-themed installations positioned as waypoints across the island.
Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC), in collaboration with Disney Cruise Line and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), has launched A Magical Island Adventure: Let’s Set Sail with Disney Cruise Line, a three-month island-wide summer event running from 24 June to 20 September 2026. Designed around Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Adventure, the activation extends the ship’s seven themed worlds across Sentosa’s landscapes, infrastructure, and coastal environments.
Sentosa Island Entrance and Disney-Themed Transport Experience
The experience begins before visitors even reach the island. Starting from early July, The Sentosa Express monorail features exterior designs of Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse, transforming arrival into part of the narrative.
The Singapore Cable Car – Sentosa Line continues this extension into the sky, with themed cabins and installations at Sensoryscape, Imbiah Lookout, and Siloso Point introducing Disney Cruise Line worlds across multiple touchpoints.
Disney Cruise Line-Inspired Island-Wide Experience at Sentosa
Rather than presenting a single enclosed attraction, the entire island is reimagined as a distributed experience network. Disney Imagination Garden, Disney Discovery Reef, Wayfinder Bay, San Fransokyo Street, Toy Story Place, and Marvel Landing are spread across Sentosa’s key precincts.
Visitors can collect stamps using a themed event passport, turning movement across the island into a structured exploratory journey. Sentosa becomes less a destination and more a navigable storytelling map.
Sensoryscape Princess-Themed Installation and Light Experience
At Sensoryscape, the space is transformed into a royal promenade inspired by Disney princess narratives. Thirteen hammock installations represent characters including Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Mulan, Merida, Raya, and Snow White.
The lighting design evolves from daytime calm to an immersive night environment, featuring more than 100 lighting effects that shift the spatial atmosphere across the corridor-like installation.
Palawan Beach Themed Zones: Marvel, Toy Story and Big Hero 6
The beachfront zones form one of the most layered sections of the activation. At Central Beach, a six-metre anchor installation and Captain Mickey and Minnie figures act as a visual gateway into the shoreline experience.
At Palawan Beach, multiple themed zones unfold across the coastline. The San Fransokyo Street area, inspired by Big Hero 6, features a six-metre Baymax inflatable and beach seating areas with food and retail pop-ups.
Nearby, Toy Story Place transforms the beach into an oversized playful landscape featuring Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and Bullseye, alongside bubble installations and a 3.9-metre water feature that becomes a focal point after dark.
At The Palawan, Marvel Landing introduces installations inspired by Iron Man and Groot, combining sculptural elements with interactive visual and sound-based experiences.
Southernmost Point of Continental Asia Night Experience
A key highlight of the event is the transformation of the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia, which remains open until 10pm for the first time.
Reimagined through Wayfinder Bay-inspired design, the area features bioluminescent-style lighting paths, mist effects, and projection-based installations. Glowing manta rays appear across the water, creating a layered nightscape.
The experience draws inspiration from Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid, Lilo & Stitch, and Moana, turning the coastal landmark into a dynamic night-time environment and one of the key Sentosa night attractions during the season.
Event Details
This three-month summer activation, happening from 24 June to 30 September 2026, marks the beginning of an evolving annual platform for Sentosa, with future editions to come. Across the event period, select installations will be refreshed and fringe programming introduced, giving guests a reason to return and discover something new with each visit.
Most of the installations and public areas across Sentosa are free to visit. Admission is only required for the Isle of Adventure night experience at the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia, available between 7pm and 10pm.
Tickets are priced at S$10 for adults and S$8 for children aged four to 12, while children aged three and below enter free of charge. Each ticket includes access to the night experience, along with a themed postcard and an Adventure Stamp Card.
