CRYBABY is heading underwater this June, with POP MART bringing the character to Resorts World Sentosa’s Singapore Oceanarium for a limited-run activation that mixes pop culture, marine life and plenty of photo moments. Running from 24 June to 30 August 2026, the experience marks the first CRYBABY activation set inside a real oceanarium and features 11 photo zones across both outdoor and indoor spaces.
What to expect
The setup reimagines CRYBABY as a group of marine-inspired characters, including The Anglerfish, The Pufferfish and The Whaleshark. Two five-metre inflatables will greet visitors outside the oceanarium, while more installations are placed through key areas such as Ocean Wonders, the Shark Seas tunnel and the Open Ocean viewing panel.
What makes this collaboration a little different is its setting. Rather than a standalone pop-up, the installations sit alongside marine habitats, which gives the whole thing a softer, more immersive feel and ties in neatly with the Singapore Oceanarium’s education and conservation focus.

This is being described as the largest CRYBABY activation staged at the Singapore Oceanarium so far, and the first to be shown in a live marine environment. It also gives POP MART a more experiential way to present one of its most recognisable IPs, while giving the attraction a fresh reason for families, fans and casual visitors to stop by.
The activation also comes with character boards that explain each marine character’s story and personality, which helps the experience feel a bit more considered than a standard branded installation. It is part playful, part educational, and that balance seems to be the main idea behind the collaboration.
Visitor details
Outdoor CRYBABY installations will be free to view, while the indoor parts of the experience require a Singapore Oceanarium ticket. Ticket prices are listed at S$55 for adults, and S$43 for children and seniors.
There will also be a CRYBABY-themed pop-up store at WEAVE in Resorts World Sentosa, where visitors can shop for Cry Me an Ocean merchandise. Guests who show a same-day Singapore Oceanarium ticket and spend at least S$128 at the pop-up will receive an exclusive CRYBABY eyemask, while stocks last.
