Designer Tory Burch Makes Appearance in Singapore With Much-Hyped Event

American designer brand Tory Burch made quite a splash in Singapore. Following the launch of a Tory Burch pop-up store at Wisma Atria on Monday, Executive Chairman and Chief Creative Officer Tory Burch and Chief Executive Officer Pierre-Yves Roussel made appearances in Singapore themselves at a star-studded event on 4 April at the Tory Burch boutique in Wisma Atria.

Who Wore What

International guests flew in from various locations in the Asia-Pacific, including Thibault Villet, President of the brand’s Asia-Pacific region. Guests arrived dressed to the nines, looking like they stepped off the pages of a glossy fashion magazine. Chinese celebrity Liu Wen arrived wearing am SS23 Look 17, ruched mini-skirt, silk Gazar Tunic and a stretch Faille wrap shirt. Qin Lan wore an SS23 Look 22, with a hook-and-eye Tunic, Star Lace slip dress. Singaporean artiste Jeanette Aw wowed with an SS23 Look 12, Cotton Poplin Tunic in black, ruched mini skirt in brown with a minty satin wrap skirt and Block T Chainmail mule sandal.

Musician Keyana serenaded on an SS23 Look 15, white Mockneck top, ruched mini skirt in black and a Croc Mirror Fob Belt to complement a metallic Block T Chainmail Mule Sandal. Yoyo Cao dazzled in an SS23 Look 3, a black Open Back pullover, a ruched mini skirt in brown and a Jersey Chiffon skirt in dark tangerine.

Tory Burch first opened in 2004 in the Nolita district of Manhattan, and the designer’s distinct style immediately caught on with fashion insiders. Since then, it has expanded into a global fashion powerhouse, with boutiques in every major city and a purpose to help women achieve their full potential. The collection was inspired by the designer’s own elegant parents as well as by art, music, travel and interiors.
