Since its founding in 1898, RIMOWA has been proudly honouring its German roots via artisanal excellence and partnerships with venerable German institutions. In keeping with this goal, the Maison is excited to announce its newest collaboration with the Deutscher Fußball-Bund (DFB), otherwise known as the German Football Association.

As part of a multi-year partnership, the Maison will provide the DFB’s women’s, men’s, and U21 national teams with custom travel cases for all of their upcoming matches.

RIMOWA and DFB both have a rich history that goes back many years. The national team traveled to the 2006 World Cup with the Maison and to Sweden for the 2008 U21 European Championships. After decades of working together, the Maison supplied Germany’s players with a custom collection for their 2014 World Cup triumph in Brazil. RIMOWA has renewed their association with DFB and will be the official luggage supplier for the foreseeable future.

RIMOWA Original Cabin and Check-In L in Silver will be used by the men’s and women’s teams, while the RIMOWA Essential Cabin and Check-In L in Black Gloss will be used by the U21 squad. The teams’ luggage, designed by the German Maison RIMOWA and adorned with the official DFB eagle badge, is a shining example of the brand’s meticulous attention to detail.
