Cointreau Partners With Maison Ikkoku’s Mori Mori Burgers in Pop-Up

Cointreau has long been synonymous with cocktail culture, both traditional and experimental. And for those who are fans of this liqueur, you will be pleased to know that Cointreau has tied up with Mori Mori Burger – a member of the Maison Ikkoku Group – for a new dining experience.

Keeping to Cointreau’s spirit of fun and originality, the dining experience at Mori Mori Burger encompasses pairing of Cointreau cocktails with a range of burgers that seek to thrill your palate. Ethan Leong, who helms Mori Mori Burger and Maison Ikkoku, has created two cocktails that make full use of the distinctive sweet and bitter orange flavour of Cointreau.

Kyoho Musha (S$25) is a grape-based cocktail made from the Kyoho grape. Featuring a strong bubblegum flavour with undertones of orange and lemon peel, this sweet cocktail is a palate-pleaser for those with a sweet tooth. And then there is the Yuzu Musha (S$25), which has a more tart kick. It is refreshing and zesty, marrying five citrus fruits, namely pomelo, yuzu, lemon, lime and orange.

Now, Cointreau adds more than just its own unique flavour to cocktails; it also elevates the taste of the other ingredients. Whilst indulging in aromatic Cointreau Musha iced mixed cocktails, feast on juicy and umami-filled Japanese burgers too.

The Ronin Burger, made with wagyu beef, melted cheese, and burnt sour onion sauce, is Mori Mori’s most famous burger. It is hearty and filling, best washed down with the Cointreau cocktail creations in our opinion. Anyone who appreciates a finely tuned beverage and a juicy, perfectly cooked burger will love this pairing.

Other delish options include the Onna-musha Burger, made with Hamachi, yakinori, negi, and teriyaki sauce, and the vegan-friendly Samurai Burger, made with an avocado and lemongrass-chickpea patty and yakinori. Fries with various seasonings and exotic ingredients, such as curry, seaweed, and truffle, are included with the purchase of any burger for S$28.

The Cointreau cocktails are available till the end of the year at Mori Mori Burger.
