The Affordable Art Fair is Back, Bigger and Pinker Than Ever

The pink-lit marketplace for all things art springs to life after a three-year hiatus. Affordable Art Fair is back at its habitual haunt at the F1 Pit Building from 18 to 20 November 2022 to turn Singapore pink once again. This year, the fair introduces 80 curated local and international galleries and a variety of special programmes and interactive workshops for all to enjoy. Whether you’re a beginner art collector or an art connoisseur, the art fair is sure to ignite your creative senses.

Meet the Exhibitors

This year’s fair will showcase thousands of artworks – refreshed daily – from over 600 emerging and established artists. Making a comeback are the fair’s local veteran exhibitors, such as Utterly Art and Redsea Gallery from Singapore. International galleries like Diverso Art Gallery from as far as Peru, Khankhalaev Gallery from Russia, and Omae Gallery from Korea will also be exhibiting their fine line-up of contemporary canvases and pieces. To put the ‘Affordable’ in the brand, 75 per cent of the items are priced below S$7,500 and nothing is priced higher than $15,000. Not wanting to burst your banks? There is also a quality selection of artworks below S$1,000. From contemporary paintings to life-size sculptures, there’s always something to suit your taste, space, and pocket.

Programme Highlights

The fair is more than just a pretty medley of masterpieces, you will be delighted to know there’s an exciting line-up of programmes to enjoy. Experience the thrill of Augmented Reality (AR) art in The Way We Dance by Dorsett Hospitality International & The Collective.

Learn a thing or two about art in art workshops hosted by Visual Arts Centre. From Chinese ink to acrylic oils and pencil sketching, come get your hands dirty and unleash your inner artist. In Sunaina Bhalla’s Synapses II, explore the lived experience of pain and relief in a site-specific installation. For the little ones, they can pick, touch, and play with the installations in the The Absurd Art Gallery hosted by Art Wonderland. Delight and dine at the GastroPark by AFK, get delish wraps and sandwiches from Café Group Therapy, and grab a tipple by Champagne Lounge while you’re at it!

Glam up for the Arty-Licious Evening on 18 November from 6pm to 9pm. Unwind with tipple and chill-beats music, enjoy thought-provoking performances such as Susana Sanromán’s work The Things We Leave Behind, participate in an Arty-Licious exclusive Adam and Eve life figure drawing workshop, and end your evening by raising funds in support of Singapore Cancer Society.​
