Come 13 November 2021, the city skyline of Singapore is going to look a tad different. Making its way to the city state for its seventh round-the-world stop is KAWS:HOLIDAY. Working with long-time collaborator AllRightsReserved, world-renowned artist KAWS is set to unveil a gigantic 42-metre-long artwork of his signature character, COMPANION, here.
The artwork, which depicts the character in a reclined position embracing a miniature version of itself, has already been making its rounds internationally since 2018 to places such as Seoul, Taipei, Hong Kong, Japan and the United Kingdom.
“At a a time when international travel may be challenging for many, I am thankful for the opportunity through the ongoing HOLIDAY project to bring art experiences to different localities, and am excited to come to Singapore for the first time,” said KAWS.

A series of limited-edition collectibles has also been created for the event. A 10.5-inch-long COMPANION (in brown, grey or black colour), 500 limited-edition camping sets, tank top and fan will be up for sale on DDT Store at ddtstore.com from 11am, 13 November 2021.
KAWS:HOLIDAY SINGAPORE will be displayed at The Float @ Marina Bay from 13 to 21 November 2021. It will be open to the public from 14 November.
