Singaporeans love our curries. And, we carry that love to the extent of incorporating it into our tea.
Local tea label Gryphon Tea Company has just come up with a limited-edition tea blend called Singapura Spice. Launched in celebration of Singapore’s 55th National Day, Singapura Spice draws on the notes of curry leaves, which is commonly used in local cuisine, as a tip of the hat to Singapore’s colourful multi-cultural culinary landscape.
Gryphon Tea is also well-loved for their Botanically Cold Brewed Sparkling Teas. The tea company’s Master Blender has too come up with a Special Edition Singapura Spice with Pineapple Sparkling Tea, which hints of green tea, indigenous herbs, pineapple and calamansi.
We personally have not tried this unique tea blend ourselves. But it sure got our interest piqued.
