Even if you haven’t already watched it, you might have heard of Hotel Del Luna, the latest talk-of-the-town drama that dominated viewership rating charts across Asia. On 23 September 2019, tvN partnered with StarHub to bring the lead actor of the hit supernatural-themed romance drama, Yeo Jin-Goo to Singapore for a meet-and-greet with media friends and fans.

Swiftly following the cast’s celebratory trip to Bangkok, the “elite hotelier” resumes his duty – visiting one of Singapore’s luxurious hotels, The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore. The dashing actor made a special appearance at an invited-only media conference where he shared his shooting experience with Man-Wol (played by IU) and answered some questions of his private life.
Although his drama character Gu Chan-seong is scared of ghosts, Yeo proclaims he is not afraid of any supernatural beings. Surprisingly, the charming young actor gets spooked by tiny little bugs.

Yeo also displayed his impeccable acting skills through a little game, where he was given three scenarios to act out on the spot. When asked to persuade the audience to buy a luxurious yacht triple the purchasing price, a simple “please buy it” and a radiant smile from him had the audience sold.

The full-day itinerary also involved a visit to one of the region’s most iconic scare events – Universal Studios Singapore’s Halloween Horror Nights 9 at Resorts World Sentosa. Yeo went into two haunted houses with 12 lucky fans, and spent some horrific time together to give a perfect finale to the Star Tour. We think the scare actors definitely made a lasting impression on him!
Cable television viewers in Singapore can catch the final episode of Hotel Del Luna next week, 2 Oct. The show airs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 9.45pm on tvN (StarHub Ch 824 and Singtel TV Ch 518/619).
