Superstar bartenders from the Asia’s 50 Best Bars and The World’s 50 Best Bars list who will make an appearance at this year’s festival include Kazuhisa Arai from Sober Company, Shanghai and Lolita Goh from Junglebird, Malaysia. The tipples made by these bartending legends cost $12 per glass.

Another highlight not to be missed is the ‘50 Minutes with 50 Best‘ cocktail masterclass. You can sample signature cocktails from acclaimed bartenders and hear the backstory behind their bars and concoctions.

Entry to this class is limited to Festival Village ticket holders. Tickets can also be purchased here from the 5th of April 2019. Alternatively, you can get a ticket through contest giveaways on the SGCF Facebook and Instagram.

There is also the “Barstylez International Bartender Championship”, where over 60 of the industry’s most creative minds from more than 25 countries shake up and storm and compete for honours in two categories — ‘Flairing’ (International) and ‘Cocktail’ (Asia).

At the Bar and brand pop-ups, you can indulge in concoctions you’ll want to try, and try again. You can also turn up the heat at the Artisanal Spirits Tasting Room, with fragrant sips from Amrut Distilleries and Tanglin Gin.

Pair your drinks with delectable treats from restaurants like COMO Cuisine and Neon Pigeon at the Food Street.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a festival without some live music and DJ acts.

The Festival Village tickets are priced from $35 for a one-day pass, inclusive of a welcome drink.

We’ll cheers to that.

There’s no better time to bar hop than 10th to 18th May 2019. Savour cocktail experiences around the city across 45 participating venues; you can expect thematic bar tours such as ‘Whisky Business’, an all-whisky cocktail showcase; and ‘New Kids on the Block’ that features the latest cocktail hotspots. There are also lots of innovative booth concepts to check out – indeed sweet dreams are made of gin.

Spots are limited so make sure to register on www.singaporecocktailfestival.com (from 5 April 2019 onward) to avoid disappointment.

In addition to these thematic bus tours, purveyors of fine spirits such as Jay Natividad from The Spirits Library (Manila, Philippines) and Ian Libang from NoKal (Manila, Philippines) will shake up special cocktails at Fat Prince on the 16 and 17 May 2019.

It’s time to get the party started!
