DFS Changi Offers Additional 10% Discount to Arriving Passengers on Top of Usual Savings

Good news for travellers arriving in Singapore. From now until 31 January 2018, you will get a 10 percent discount on all full allowable purchases at DFS Wines and Spirits stores at all four terminals of Singapore Changi Airport.

This is on top of the usual savings of up to 70 percent one could get at the stores versus domestic purchases in Singapore. The 10 percent discount – which has never been offered before – applies to DFS’ extensive range of spirits, beers, wines and champagnes.

The full allowance entitlement for arriving travellers can be any of these three combinations:

  • One litre of spirits, one litre of wine and one litre of beer;
  • Two litres of wine and one litre of beer, or;
  • Two litres of beer and one litre of wine.

With the extra 10 discount, you can expect pretty substantial savings. For instance, a bottle Martell Cordon Bleu costs S$254.60 at DFS – essentially savings of S$259.70 when compared to the city price of S$514.30. Some items are also only found at DFS Changi, such as Domaines Barons De Rothschild red wine and Moet & Chandon Reserve Imperial.

DFS also offers free home delivery for purchases above S$300.

The offer is not applicable to passengers arriving from Malaysia, those away from Singapore for less than 48 hours, and travellers who have already maximised their duty-free allowance prior to arriving at Changi Aiport.
