Singaporeans who miss A&W’s signature root beer floats and coney dogs, you have much to cheer about. Come 2018, A&W will be making its return to Singapore!
According to a Yahoo Singapore article, A&W has already a Singapore office in place since last year to prepare for the expansion. A&W is said to be currently looking for “real estate for a flagship company restaurant in Singapore”.
The American fast food restaurant was the first fast food chain in Singapore. It left Singapore in 2003 with the closure of its five outlets and has since been missed by many locals.
A&W also told Yahoo Singapore that there are plans to open 30 to 40 more new restaurants in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
